Itinerary
On your arrival at Udaipur Airport, our associate will greet you at the airport and lead you to your hotel.
Once you complete your check-in process, you can start with the tour of the city.
To begin your tour in Udaipur, you will visit the pride of the city, the City Palace. This vast complex is the house to many courtyards, gardens, and palaces. Each of these structures is a blend of Mughal, European and Rajasthani architecture. The palace attracts thousands of visitors each day, most of which are from foreign lands.
After the tour of the palace, you can head out in the city to spend some time shopping at the local markets.
End your day by making your way to the hotel for your overnight stay.
Followed by breakfast at your hotel, you will move out to explore the city, yet again.
The first destination of the day is Fateh Sagar Lake. This artificial lake is an enormous water body. It is constructed in the shape of a circle and is lit up at night. But what’s even more interesting is the boat ride at this tranquil lake. The boat ride takes you right in the middle of the lake, for you to enjoy the view of the city.
After the boat ride, make your way towards the topmost viewpoint of the city. The Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway ride offers a bird’s eye view of the town. It overlooks the Lake Pichola, City Palace, Sajjangarh Fort and even the Aravalli Mountains.
Before you end your day, head to the Sahelion Ki Bari garden. The garden has four pools with delicately chiseled kiosks, elephants in marble and lions carved out of marble serving the purpose of the fountain which creates the royal picture of the bygone era. It was actually built as a place for the kings to spend their leisure time.
Make your way back to the hotel and catch up on some rest.
Today you will be traveling to Jodhpur which is situated 250 km away from Udaipur. It should take you around 4 hours 36 minutes, by road, to reach your destination.
Upon your arrival, complete your check-in process and start exploring the Blue City. The first destination on your list is the Mehrangarh Fort. Mehrangarh Fort holds the pride of Jodhpur because of its splendid architecture and diverse history associated with it. One can see the panoramic view of the Jodhpur city from this fort, which seems like a blue carpet laid out just for you.
The next checkpoint planned for you is Kaylana Lake. The sunset at this lake is extremely mesmerizing. It is the perfect picnic spot for tourists who come and enjoy the beauty of the lake. It is surrounded by trees on all sides and the cool breeze adds to its tranquility. In addition to that, bird lovers can watch out for the Siberian Cranes that stop by the lake.
Post this enfeebled yet exciting day, you can move back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.
Hit the road again to travel for Jaisalmer. The city is located 284 km away from Jodhpur and should take you 4 hours 30 minutes to reach your destination.
Once you have reached the city and are well-rested, move out to your first attraction for the city tour. You will begin with the adventure sports at the Thar Desert. The adventure sports in the desert are highly acclaimed and is one of the most populated tourist attractions. There are various sports to choose from. Be it Quad Biking, Dune Bashing, Desert Safari or even Paragliding, none of these will leave you gutted.
After a 4-hour journey and some adventure sports, it is best to take some rest at the hotel. So have some dinner and end your day with a good night’s sleep.
Begin the day with a healthy breakfast and be ready to head out for some more fun.
The first destination of the day is the Jaisalmer Fort. It is also known as the “Sonar Qila” by the locals. This yellow sandstone structure was raised by Rajput ruler Raja Jaisal in 1156. Its history also talks of multiple attacks on the fort by Ala-Uddin-Khilji and Mughal monarch Humayun. It is one of the must-visit forts of Rajasthan.
After adoring the beauty of the fort, stop by the Khaba Fort. It is a ruined fort set in the midst of a desolate abandon town. It’s a structurally amazing point of interest brimming with scariness, history and supernatural quality.
Your last destination in the city will be Salim Singh Ki Haveli. This Haveli is slightly different from the other Havelis in terms of art and sculpture. Interestingly, the roof has been built in the form of a peacock. In addition to that, at the entrance of the Haveli, there are tuskers made of sandstones guarding the haveli. Now that’s someplace to be at.
End your day with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
On Day 6 we will bid goodbye to you but also wish to see you soon. Today you will travel back from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur to catch your flight. It’s four and a half hours' drive to ensure that you leave the hotel on time to reach the airport.
Sadly, your Udaipur Jodhpur Jaisalmer holiday package has come to an end and it is time to get back home. We hope we could be of assistance to you and were able to make your holiday a fun-filled one.
